Internationally recognised, this multicoloured embroidery is ideal for integrating into bohemian or eclectic décor as well as ethnic décor.

This Otomi pillow cover is handmade on 100% natural, undyed cotton fabric and embroidered by hand by the expert embroiderers of Tenango de Doria.

These cushions are large, measuring 64 centimetres on each side, not including the coloured pompoms in the corners.

There are many interpretations about the origin of this Otomi embroidery: some say they are inspired by cave paintings in the area and others interpret them as inspiration given by the Virgin of Guadalupe to the people of Tenango de Doria in order to overcome a famine suffered during a time of great drought.
